Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh spinach
  • 8 oz feta cheese crumbled
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill chopped
  • 1 package phyllo pastry about 1 lb
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Sauté the onion in olive oil until translucent.
  2. Add the spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.
  3. Combine spinach mixture with feta and herbs.
  4. Prepare the phyllo pastry sheets.
  5. Layer and butter the phyllo sheets.
  6. Cut the layered phyllo into strips.
  7. Place the filling at one end of each strip.
  8. Fold the phyllo over the filling to create triangles.
  9. Arrange the triangles on a baking sheet.
  10. Brush the tops with melted butter and bake.
