Crispy Baked Parmesan Zucchini Fries Recipe

Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, Baked Parmesan Zucchini Fries offer a delightful twist on a classic snack, making them an irresistible addition to any gathering or a wholesome side dish for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium zucchini
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and dry the zucchini, then cut them into fry-shaped pieces.
  3. In a shallow dish, combine panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dredge each zucchini fry in the breadcrumb mixture until evenly coated.
  5. Arrange the coated fries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Spray the tops with olive oil (optional) for extra crispness.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
