- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Add diced onions, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet.
- Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
- Toast the hamburger buns lightly if desired, then spoon the filling onto the bottom half of each bun.
- Top with the other half of the bun and serve warm.
