- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Transfer the beef to the crockpot and add the chopped onion and bell pepper.
- Stir in the minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, and smoked paprika.
- Add the crushed tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, and beef broth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and stir well.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Once cooked, taste and adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
