Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 8 oz crescent roll dough
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef or turkey, breadcrumbs, BBQ sauce, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mold the meat mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  6. Fit each triangle into a prepared muffin tin, pressing the dough into the bottom and up the sides to create a cup.
  7. Place one meatball in each crescent cup.
  8. Brush the exposed dough edges lightly with a bit of the remaining BBQ sauce for added flavor.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and meatballs are cooked through.
  10. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
