  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
