Ingredients
  

  • 2 ribeye steaks about 1 inch thick
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Remove the steaks and let them rest on a plate.
  5. In the same skillet, add chopped onions and sauté until soft and translucent.
  6. Sprinkle the flour over the onions and stir to combine.
  7. Gradually whisk in the beef broth, breaking up any lumps.
  8. Add Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper as needed.
  9. Return the steaks to the skillet and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
